Description

This is all about accentuating the positive! Fresh from a four-day experience at the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) conference in Philadelphia, Linda will serve as a “repeater rifle,” delivering excerpts from the latest research on positivity, the
brain and how it affects ADHD.

The IPPA is a new organization based on the work of Martin Seligman, Chris Peterson and Ed Diener who pioneered the idea of accenting the positive instead of the negative during psychological treatment. The result has been a shift in much of the approach to psychological disorders.

ADHD is a little slow on the uptake for positivity as treatment, but we’re on the cusp of providing gold standard research that shows the cultivating a sense of wellbeing and happiness improves focus and attention..not to mention increasing life span by as much as seven years!
